Sinanation® is the journal of Sinan Baştaş named after a nickname one of his friends picked for him. Its topics range from food, travel, relationships, art to music and include the author’s insight and recommendations. Sinanation® launched in 2007.
Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Sinan graduated from Northwestern University in 2006. He has traveled to and worked in numerous cities around the world including Chicago, Paris, London and New York and currently resides in Istanbul. He manages the family textile business, Miktroteks® together with his father and is the co-founder of the online art auction site, www.artandseek.com. Sinan also writes pieces for magazines such as Mix and Fin Digital, a part of the Digital Tree Publishing House.
