		<description>It is quite logical for American skiers to wear helmets as it seems to be common and apparently perceived as cool to not use the safety bars on the chair lifts (at least my observation in Snowmass).. a helmet should increase your survival chances by at least 5% once falling 80ft to the ground....

P.s. Loved skiing Colorado, especially as it feels like having the mountain for your own. During a full week i have not seen any queue at the lifts and even more irritating lift staff helping you carrying your equipment....in Europe you are lucky off if they don&#039;t shout at you.....</description>
