Sarabeth’s Central Park
It took me a while to figure out why my aunt and sister love this place so much. Aside from the fact that it is located right across from the best possible green scenery in Manhattan, the Central Park, it turns out Sarabeth’s has one of the best tomato soups and salmon eggs benedicts in town. In my opinion the muffin/bread underneath the benedict makes all the difference and Sarabeth’s serves the most delicious: thick enough to taste, soft enough to blend with the rest. I’d say try to sit in the front where you can face the Central Park. Keep in mind that the place is packed during brunch on the weekends. The wait will be long. I prefer to go during late afternoons to avoid the crowd.
